How to Create An RSO
Presented by SGA's RSO Growth & Development Committee

Most CMU students have heard of an RSO, or Registered Student Organization, and many are involved in one or more.

This event is for students who are interested in creating an RSO. Tom Idema, assistant director of the Office of Student Life, will speak at the event. He will explain the benefits of RSO life and the process on taking an idea and turning it into a registered student organization at CMU.

Event Breakdown

7 - 7:30 p.m.: Event kick-off presentation and performance.
Enjoy the Mountain Town Singers and improv comedy.

7:30 - 8 p.m.: Keynote with Tom Idema.
Learn about RSO life, creating an RSO, benefits and tips.

8 - 9 p.m.: Roundtables
Visit different booths hosted by RSO representatives from various demographic groups, such as theater, music, academic and Greek. This includes a presentation and a Q&A session.
